What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the service you selected, and whatever you write in the message field.

When you book a strategy call we collect the details you enter in the booking calendar, typically your name, email, phone number, the time you chose and what you tell us about your business.

Information collected automatically. This site runs Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 on every visit. Together they measure how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on site, and whether visitors reach the booking or contact page, and which ads or campaigns brought them here, and may be used to show our advertising to people who have visited, using the cookies described in our Cookie Policy. You can block them in your browser settings, and block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Fonts are served from this website itself, so loading them sends nothing to Google or any other font service.

The page you first land on, the site that referred you (if any), and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example from an ad) are kept in your browser for that visit only, and the campaign tags are passed to our booking calendar if you book a call, so we know which marketing brought you here. The type of business you choose in our industry finder is kept the same way and pre-fills our contact form and booking calendar.

Videos on this site are hosted on Vimeo. The short reel at the top of the homepage plays automatically without sound, so that video file is requested from Vimeo when the homepage loads, and Vimeo receives your IP address as with any web request. Every other video is requested from Vimeo only when you press play; once you do, Vimeo’s player loads and Vimeo’s own privacy policy applies.

How we use it

We use what you send to reply to you, to prepare for the strategy call, and to provide services if you become a client. That is the entire list.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask to join.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they process your information on our behalf. Netlify hosts this website and receives and stores what you submit through our contact form. Our email provider handles the messages we exchange with you.

Google receives the usage and advertising data these tools collect on every visit.

Our booking calendar is provided by Calendly, which receives and stores the details you enter when you book a call.

When you apply for a website through our website questionnaire, your answers and contact details are sent to us and stored with our hosting provider (Netlify), which we use to follow up on your request, including if you don’t finish checkout. Payment is made on our payment provider’s secure page; we never receive your full card number. Details and files you send after purchase are stored the same way.

We disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of the conversation. Client records are retained as long as the engagement lasts and for as long afterwards as tax and contractual obligations require.

Your choices

Email us at info@nochancemarketing.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, including under the New York SHIELD Act.

Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the bottom of this page.
